Bûche de Noël, the traditional Christmas cake of France, is also known as a Yule Log in Scandinavian countries. This is a delicious cake and perfect for a crowd. We will make sponge cake, then fill it and roll it with several fillings. The cake will then be frosted and decorated with chocolate ganache, chocolate twigs, meringue mushrooms, and frosted berries and greens. Lots of recipes and techniques will make this cake a new family tradition. Snacks will be served to get us through the evening.
