Midsummer Eve is the biggest röd dag (holiday) of the year in Sweden. Join me for a midsummer feast, a pop-up style class where much of the food will be prepared in advance and you will help with the finishing touches. We'll prepare traditional recipes that are easily reproduced for your own Midsummer on June 23rd or any summer party. We'll then sit down outside for a delicious feast. Only 12 seats available and a great class for män & kvinnor (guys & girls). This year, I will have just returned from Sweden and I'm excited to bring home with me authentic treats for the meal.

OurMenu:

  • Salmon gravlax, mustard sauce, rye bread & knäckebröd (crisp bread)
  • Swedish cheeses
  • Mushroom salad, cultured cream, chives
  • Chicken liver mousse, 1-2-3 pickled cucumbers 
  • Grass-fed beef Swedish meatballs, lingonberries, gravy 
  • Hasselback potatoes
  • Braised red cabbage 
  • Swedish summer berry soup
