If you’re trying to incorporate more vegetables in your diet, this class is for you.

Several Mondays a month I invite you to a two hour, hands-on class featuring vegetables from Live Earth Farm. These vegetables are seasonal of course, picked on the Tuesday or Wednesday before class, and delivered to me Thursday. They are organic, seriously delicious, and perfect vegetable specimens!

Depending on what’s in season, I’ll teach what I think is the best technique to bring out the nutrients and flavors of each vegetable family. You’ll get to know all sorts of vegetables and how to best prepare them. We’ll make soups, salads, meatless entrees, and maybe dessert!

  • This class will be perfect for vegetarians, those who know they should be eating more veggies, and those looking to up their vegetable game with the flavor factor.

  • I’ll cover prep, storage, appropriate cooking techniques and provide recipes.

  • Actual menu will be decided the week before class when I find out what’s available from the farm.

We’ll prepare dishes and enjoy plenty of food and taste each dish as we go. I will keep class to two hours so that you can get home. Email me with questions or for what’s on the menu.

Classes are nonrefundable but feel free to send someone in your place if you are unable to attend.
