10/19 - Thursday - 6:30 - 8:30

Seasonal Eating, Health & Ancient Traditions, a collaboration with yoga instructor Bindu Coulman.

Our class in September was a hit so I’m excited to be partnering with Bindu again.

Customs and recipes have been passed down through the ages using seasonal food traditions. We’ll discuss the benefits and health implications of eating seasonally and touch on Ayurveda, a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). We’ll also talk about acid and alkaline foods and how to balance the two.

Our menu:

  • Alkaline Rich Salad of Bitter Greens & Hard Boiled Eggs

  • Seared radicchio & Apple Salad, Apple-Maple Vinaigrette

  • Maple & Spice Roasted Autumn Squash & Millet

  • Mushroom, Barley & Kale Soup
